Skipness Village Hall

The Village Hall is owned on behalf of the Skipness and Claonaig community by a charitable trust and is managed by the Skipness Village Hall Management Committee. The purpose for the trust is to hold the hall as a resource to support social, sport and educational activities. It can be hired for public or private events with flexible space it is suitable a variety of events such as:

Dances and musical events

Playgroups

Workshops/Craft Fairs

Parties/Receptions

Group overnight stays

The Hall hosts a number of regular activities, including the weekly doctor’s surgery, traditional dances, village meals and the various elections.

Community members are encouraged to make use of the resource. No event is too small it can be hired for an afternoon’s badminton or to entertain children in wet weather. You can check availability below.

Space: The Hall has a principal space measuring 22m by 8m. 

Seating: It can accommodate seated parties of over 100 however we would recommend a seating capacity closer to 60. 

There are 8 tables measuring 180cm by 76cm and approx. 80 chairs which can be made available.  

Set in the heart of Skipness village and right next to Skipness beach with stunning views of Arran. Skipness village hall is a great location for private functions.
